Blue Arc quickly became the leader in the standardization of transmission availability for the interconnected grid of North America. In partnership with SGS Statistical Services, LLC, Blue Arc developed “Transmission Line Availability Data Guidelines and Definitions.”
Through Blue Arc’s work with Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), a standardized set of transmission grid reliability metrics was established to enable transmission owners and operators to increase comparability and improve industry decision-making.
