WomensWisdom History Theatre is dedicated to the women who fought for our right to vote, our right to obtain an education, create and shape our destinies. Because throughout history their voices rang clear and true we now have priveleges unheard of a hundred years ago.

 

WomensWisdom History Theatre brings their voices back so that we may remember these brave women, honor them and make these women known to future generations.

 

I loved doing the research on these women in history. Through my research these women became alive, for I discovered their dreams. I understood their fight. They were fighting not just for their own rights but for the rights of women yet to come.

 

My portrayals of these women are a “thank you” to their bravery and vision.

 

For forty-five minutes (the length of the performance) we women of the present join hands with a woman of the past to honor the women that will be the future.
