Quantum Data Announces Availability of HDMI 2.0 EDID-Related Compliance Tests

Optional test package supported on existing 980 HDMI Protocol Analyzer module

Elgin IL – February 5, 2014 – Quantum Data™, a worldwide provider of video test equipment, today announced the availability of a set of HDMI 2.0 EDID-related compliance tests and MOIs on their existing HDMI Protocol Analyzer module.

The tests are run through the existing 980 Manager’s HDMI Sink Compliance test GUI. The 980 compliance solutions are ideal for pre-testing and self-testing when permitted. They provide developers with the necessary test results to enable thorough investigation of anomalies. The test results can be disseminated to other colleagues and subject matter experts for analysis. The 980 test instrument is not required to view these results and captures—only the free 980 GUI Manager is necessary for remote analysis.
