The new compliance test packages covers twenty three (23) HDMI 2.0 test IDs essential for certifying HDMI 2.0 source and sink products. Quantum Data has previously delivered HDMI 2.0 approved compliance tests for 4:2:0 pixel encoding and EDID-related functions for both HDMI sources and sinks. The tests are run through the 980 Manager’s HDMI 2.0 Source and Sink Compliance test GUI. The 980 compliance solutions are ideal for pre-testing and self-testing when permitted. They provide developers with the necessary test results and detailed capture logs to enable thorough investigation of anomalies. The test results and raw capture data can be disseminated to other colleagues and subject matter experts for analysis. The 980 test instrument is not required to view these results and captures—only the free 980 GUI Manager is necessary for remote analysis.
